I am so grateful for the capacity to practice gratitude, to be able to still genuinely see the beauty in a year that has been so full of chaos and loss. Ahh, this gift I treasure, to be someone leaned in to seeing the glass half full despite…

I am grateful that we are living in a time where old structures are dying, and we are being given an opportunity to choose again how we want to show up in the world and what type of world we want to co-create. It is a blessing to be in possession of a human heart that has shown us over and over again just how resilient it is. Today, I celebrate the human spirit’s ability to transcend pain; to find the good and remain in divine ceremony with hope, light, love. May we all intimately experience this day just how much there is to be grateful for. Namaste, Amen! ❤️

If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still, life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that’s often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb.
– Mary Oliver

Giving into joy feels like a radical act in these challenging times. I hope we all have the courage to be joy rebels. Have a great start to the week.

It’s okay to lose people. But never lose yourself.

Love this silence, this moment, and every moment.

grateful…

for allowing my heart to ache some, it comes and goes occasionally.

for taking a rest when needed,
for reading a good book,
for clouds dancing…

for mental stamina,
for not attaching,
for timing of the universe.

And realizing that if the world ends tomorrow, I’ve had a good life.

O mind, my friend, what’s the good of so much speaking?

O mind, my friend, all of this has been made quite clear.

I’ve told you what I know to be true;

You’re the ultimate Reality.

You’re unbounded, like space.

– From The Song of Avadhut

Grateful for awareness and consciousness.

It’s better having one true friend than having false relatives.

Good things happen when you distance yourself from negative people.
